Terms of Service

Let’s Hibachi Terms of Service. Last Updated: March 12th 2026. Welcome to Let’s Hibachi! By booking or participating in a Let’s Hibachi experience, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept this simple and fair so you can focus on enjoying your event.

 1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking our services, you (the “Host”) agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and your guests.

 2. Our Service

Let’s Hibachi provides private, in-home or on-location hibachi catering experiences. Our chefs bring cooking equipment, prepare food onsite, and provide entertainment. Service may include cooking demonstrations, interactive entertainment, and guest participation as part of the overall experience. Event timing, chef availability, menu options, and service structure may vary depending on location, party size, weather, venue limitations, and other logistical considerations. While we strive to deliver a consistent experience across all markets, some aspects of service may differ slightly by city or chef.

 3. Host Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and safe experience, the Host agrees to:

  • Provide a safe, clean, and suitable cooking area (outdoor preferred unless otherwise agreed)
  • Ensure adequate space for the chef and equipment
  • Keep guests at a safe distance during cooking
  • Inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance
  • Follow any reasonable safety instructions provided by the chef

The Host is also responsible for ensuring the event location complies with any venue, HOA, apartment, lease, fire code, or local restrictions regarding open flames, grills, smoke, noise, or outdoor cooking. Let’s Hibachi is not responsible for events interrupted or canceled due to venue restrictions or lack of proper permissions. Hosts are encouraged to communicate any concerns about space, access, stairs, parking, pets, weather exposure, or cooking limitations before the event date.

 4. Safety & Assumption of Risk

Hibachi cooking involves open flames, hot surfaces, and sharp utensils. By booking, you acknowledge that:

  • There are limited but inherent risks involved in this type of cooking experience
  • You and your guests voluntarily assume these risks
  • We take safety seriously and our chefs are trained, but participation is at your own risk

Guests are expected to behave responsibly around cooking equipment and follow any instructions provided by the chef during the event. Children should be supervised at all times near the cooking area. Let’s Hibachi reserves the right to modify or limit certain entertainment elements, including fire-related tricks or activities, if the chef determines conditions are unsafe.

 5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: Let’s Hibachi is not responsible for any damage to property unless such damage is directly caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of our team. While hibachi cooking involves open flames and hot equipment, we take precautions to minimize risk. In the event that damage is clearly determined to be caused by our team, we will work with the Host in good faith to reasonably resolve the issue.

Let’s Hibachi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to delays caused by traffic, weather, venue restrictions, equipment issues outside our control, or guest-related incidents. Our maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the event in question.

 6. Insurance

We maintain general catering liability insurance in the cities we operate. This coverage is for general business protection and does not make Let’s Hibachi responsible for incidents outside our control.

Proof of insurance may be available upon request for certain venues or events, depending on location and notice provided. Hosts are responsible for ensuring the event venue accepts hibachi-style cooking and any applicable insurance documentation requirements are communicated in advance.

 7. Payments, Deposits & Cancellations

A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable depending on timing. Final guest count and details must be confirmed prior to your event. Late cancellations or significant unplanned changes may result in fees.

Remaining balances are typically due at the event unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to provide accurate guest counts, location details, or event timing may impact service and pricing. Let’s Hibachi reserves the right to adjust pricing for substantial last-minute changes, extended wait times, inaccessible setup locations, or inaccurate booking information.

 8. Food & Allergies

We’re happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies when you let us know ahead of time. That said, there is no way to guarantee a completely 100% allergen-free environment.

Food is prepared in shared cooking environments and may come into contact with common allergens including soy, shellfish, dairy, gluten, sesame, nuts, and others. It is the Host’s responsibility to communicate allergy information for all guests prior to the event so the chef can reasonably prepare accordingly.

 9. Alcohol & Guest Conduct

If alcohol is present, the Host is responsible for guest behavior. Let’s Hibachi reserves the right to stop service if conditions become unsafe for the chef or guests.

Aggressive, inappropriate, illegal, or unsafe conduct toward our staff will not be tolerated. If service is stopped due to unsafe conditions, harassment, excessive intoxication, or dangerous behavior, refunds will not be guaranteed. Hosts are responsible for ensuring guests respect the chef, equipment, and event environment.

 10. Weather & Outdoor Events

For outdoor events: The Host is responsible for providing a suitable backup plan if needed. Weather-related adjustments may be required for safety.

Severe weather, excessive wind, rain, extreme heat, or unsafe environmental conditions may require modifications to the setup, menu, timing, or entertainment portions of the experience. If conditions are determined to be unsafe by the chef or management team, service may be delayed, adjusted, relocated, or canceled for safety reasons.

 11. Photography & Marketing

We may take photos or videos during events for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in advance.

By booking, you grant Let’s Hibachi permission to use general event photos, videos, or customer-submitted content featuring the experience for promotional, advertising, and social media purposes unless you specifically request otherwise prior to the event. We will make reasonable efforts to honor privacy requests.

 12. Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel a booking due to safety concerns
  • Modify these terms at any time

We may also refuse service or terminate an event if the environment becomes unsafe, inaccessible, hostile, or materially different from what was represented during booking. In rare circumstances involving emergencies, illness, travel disruptions, or unforeseen staffing issues, Let’s Hibachi may substitute chefs, adjust timing, or reschedule service when reasonably necessary.

 13. Refunds and Payment Disputes

At Let’s Hibachi, we strive to provide an amazing experience for every guest. Because our services involve live chefs, travel, staffing, food preparation, and event-based scheduling, minor variations in food preparation, timing, or presentation may occasionally occur. If a customer has a concern regarding their event, they agree to contact Let’s Hibachi directly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to address and resolve the issue before initiating a credit card dispute or chargeback.

By submitting payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees that: Dissatisfaction with subjective issues such as taste preferences, food texture, seasoning, entertainment style, weather conditions, venue limitations, or other non-material concerns does not automatically qualify for a partial or full refund.

Let’s Hibachi may, at its sole discretion, offer partial refunds, credits, or other reasonable accommodations when appropriate.
Customers agree not to initiate fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks for services that were rendered.
Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with Let’s Hibachi may be considered a breach of these Terms of Service.

Customers with concerns may contact our support team at info@letshibachi.com so we can work toward a fair resolution.

14. Governing Laws

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the event takes place.

Any disputes, claims, or legal matters arising from the booking or services provided by Let’s Hibachi shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the applicable laws of that state, without regard to conflict of law principles. By booking our services, the Host agrees to attempt to resolve concerns directly and in good faith with Let’s Hibachi before pursuing formal legal action. If any portion of these Terms of Service is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
